Born in Chicago, IL, a product of the Englewood community. Vivian enjoyed a lengthy career at the United States Postal Service for 35 years in the capacity of clerk, postal resource, classroom instructor, and lead trainer.
Presently, she is an independent distributor of Shaklee Products (all-natural vitamins, supplements, and environmentally safe green products). She believes that gratitude, colon cleanse, diet, exercise, and laughter are promoters of good health.
Vivian serves as chairman of the entertainment committee for the South Suburban Postal Retirees, treasurer of the Saul Hall Mixed Bowling League, a member of Operation Push, IVI IPO (Independent Voters of Illinois) and is an advocate for veterans.
She has been a volunteer for Clara's House (shelter for homeless and battered women) and the director of the International Stevenson Foundation (for ex-offenders). She has also volunteered for various political candidates.
As a networker, Vivian has been a member of Ace's Business Network A'Fair (ABNA) for almost two decades. Through her networking, she has interacted with thousands of people and takes pride in being a connector of people. In her free time, she passionately engages in bowling, stepping, card playing, and belly dancing. She loves combining networking in all of her social activities. Her mantra is “I party with a purpose.”
A writer by day and a reader by night, she is the newly published author of her first book “I Just Want to Share” which is a compilation of experiences, thoughts, suggestions, motivation, and inspiration.
